BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Amelia Garibaldi took home her first collegiate tournament win on Tuesday as the Fresno State women's golf team concluded the Clash at Boulder Creek in a tie for seventh place, posting a score of 11-over 875 at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
It was a career day for Amelia Garibaldi as the junior shot a career- low round of 6-under 66 in the final round of the tournament. She accumulated six straight birdies from hole 13 through hole 18 while totaling seven on the day. Garibaldi posted a career-best score of 11-under 205 while recording her second straight top-ten finish of the season.
Vunnisa Vu moved up four spots to finish tied for 38th after posting a score of 5-over 77 in the final round with five birdies. Lara Goerlich concluded her day at 5-over with three birdies as the freshman finished the tournament in a tie for 44th place.
Hyojeong Kang finished at 15-over and Katelyn Lehigh wrapped up her tournament at 23-over.
Competing as an individual, Sara Rampoldi ended her tournament at 21-over.
