Ally and Bedolla set for NCAA Zones in Federal Way

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State dive team will send two divers, Grace Ally & Natalia Bedolla, to the NCAA Zone E qualifying meet in Federal Way beginning on Monday, Mar. 10 through Wednesday, Mar. 12 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center hosted by the University of Utah.

NCAA ZONES

Fresno State will send two divers to the Zone 'E' meet this coming week. NCAA Zone Diving Championships a regional qualifying meets for the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships, with divers qualifying based on their performances at these zone meets. The top five females from each event at their respective zone championship automatically qualify for NCAAs. Each zone can also earn additional qualifying spots based on their performance at the previous year's NCAA Championship

COMING OFF HOT

Grace Ally and Natalia Bedolla both came off of strong performances at the 2025 Mountain West Championship. Bedolla in her first conference championship appearance qualified into two finals (1-meter & Platform), finishing seventh and fifth, respectively.

Ally saw her return to the 3-meter championship final placing fifth (308.80) and consolation finals in the 1-meter and platform.

Ally and Bedolla have qualified for all three diving disciplines. Ally will only dive in the platform event and Bedolla in the 1 & 3 meter springboard.

ZONES HISTORY

This will be Ally's third consecutive zone's appearance and her third year qualifying into the platform event. In her two appearances, she finished as high as 11th place with back-to-back showings in finals. Last season Ally finished 29th in the 3-meter and 11th in the platform, a personal best at the meet.

This will also be Bedolla's third consecutive zone's appearance. Bedolla has competed in all three diving events in the previous two showings. Her highest career finish at the meet was 18th (1-meter), 17th (3-meter) and 15th (platform).

Sessions on Monday through Wednesday will begin at 11:30 a.m. PT
