Darkness pauses play for golfers

The Dale McNamara Invitational was paused by darkness on Monday evening. Play will resume on Tuesday morning.

BULLDOG BONES

  • Fresno State is in 8th place, nearing the finish of round two. 
  • The Bulldogs have one in the Top 15. 
  • Round two will be completed tomorrow morning, and the third and final round will follow.

BROKEN ARROW, Okla.After a delayed start to the morning due to weather conditions on Sunday night, darkness paused play on Monday evening at the Dale McNamara Invitational at the Golf Club of Oklahoma. Fresno State is in eighth place through almost two complete rounds in the tournament.

The Bulldogs have shot 18-over through nearly two rounds played on Monday. Senior Harriet Lynch  leads the Bulldogs as she is in 14th place, shooting 1-over-par on the day.

Sophomore Nicola Kaminski is next on the individual leaderboards for the Bulldogs, finishing up day one tied for 26th place, shooting 4-over-par on the day. Senior Jessica Hall has shot one stroke more than Kaminski, and is T31st through 34 holes.

Freshman Yu Shang is T45th (+8) and Lory Paradis is T60th (+12).

The tournament will resume play tomorrow morning with a 6:30 a.m. PT shotgun start. The teams will wrap up the second round at that time, and continue on with the third and final round immediately after.
